Jeffrey John Hopp is an Australian businessman, company director, philanthropist and entrepreneur. He was the founder and chairman from 1974 to 1988 of Jesus People Welfare Services Incorporated, Western Australia, now known as Perth City Mission now under the national arm, Mission Australia. 

 

After a successful career running a non-government agency and helping thousands of disadvantaged young Australians, he formed his own company, Awards Australia. This company founded and ran programs such as Senior Australian of the Year, Young Australian of the Year and the state and territory Regional Achievement Awards amongst many others. He also created the New Zealander of the Year Awards in 2009.
